Quenton Marselles Brown, 57, the father of Boston Celtics star Jaylen Brown, has been arrested in Las Vegas and faces attempted murder charges following a stabbing incident at All American Sports Park, officials confirmed.
According to police reports, the altercation began after Brown allegedly opened the door of his vehicle into another car—a so‑called “door ding”—sparking a confrontation. Brown is accused of stabbing the victim multiple times in the back and abdomen, leaving the victim critically injured and requiring surgery. Brown sustained abrasions and facial injuries and reportedly acknowledged that the argument started over the parking incident.
He was taken into custody and booked into the Clark County Detention Center without bail. His first court appearance is scheduled for Thursday afternoon.
