Fight Over Parking Spaces Results in One Death

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is investigating a deadly shooting along the 5200 block of Tipper Avenue, near Nellis Boulevard and Hacienda Avenue.
It happened approximately 12:30 p.m. next Tuesday
According to police, a 34-year-old guy was shot and declared dead at the site. According to investigators, the incident was the result of a fight between residents over restricted parking.
The shooting occurred near Courtney Junior High School, leading police to place the school on lockdown. According to authorities, rumors of a gunshot at the school are false. There was no danger to the school.
There is currently no suspect in custody.
