Henderson Police Are Looking for an SUV That Hit a Pedestrian and Left the Scene

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe)- The Henderson Police Department is searching for an SUV that hit a pedestrian and fled the scene on Thursday afternoon.
The accident was reported at 1 p.m., according to police on Boulder Highway southbound at Gibson Road, just south of Sam Boyd Stadium.
According to authorities, a gold, older model SUV hit a pedestrian and left the area. The pedestrian was brought to the hospital in critical condition, and it is unknown if they will survive.
The car was identified as a Chevrolet Tahoe or Suburban. It would be missing a license plate, have right-front bumper damage, significant windshield damage, and a missing right-side mirror.
The driver was described as a heavy-set Black female adult in her 30s with shoulder-length hair.
The southbound Boulder Highway is anticipated to be blocked for the rest of the day as police investigate.
