LAS VEGAS – Body20, an upcoming health club in Summerlin, was broken into and thousands of dollars’ worth of equipment was stolen just weeks before its grand opening.
The stolen equipment includes 12 workout suits valued at around $5,000 each, which are specialized to contract muscles for an intense workout in a short time.
The thieves also took a TV, laptop, water bottles, and t-shirts.
The Andersons, who own the business, were disheartened but are determined to move forward with their plans to open in May despite the setback.
Police believe this may have been a targeted theft and are asking for anyone with information to come forward.
