Justice Served: Former LVMPD Sergeant Faces Prison for Multiple Felonies

Suspended Las Vegas Metro Police Sergeant Kevin Menon has agreed to a plea deal involving multiple felony charges. Menon, 43, faced allegations ranging from abuse of power to possession of child sexual abuse material. As part of the agreement, he will serve a prison sentence ranging from four to ten years and will be required to register as a sex offender.

Menon’s charges stem from a series of incidents, including orchestrating unlawful arrests on the Las Vegas Strip, possessing illicit materials, and installing hidden recording devices in private areas of his home. These actions not only violated the trust placed in law enforcement officers but also highlighted significant lapses in oversight within the department.

The plea deal, reached after a settlement conference between Menon’s attorney, Robert Draskovich, and prosecutors, aims to bring closure to a case that has drawn public scrutiny. Sentencing is scheduled for August 4, 2025.
