A 35-year-old man, Daniel Herbert Hall Jr., faces multiple charges after allegedly throwing a Molotov cocktail into his ex-girlfriend’s home while she and her three children were inside.

Hall was booked into the Clark County Detention Center on July 6th. Charges include attempted murder with a deadly weapon, first-degree arson, and manufacturing/possession of an explosive device.

According to police reports, the incident occurred on July 5th. Police received a call reporting a man, later identified as Hall, had set his shirt on fire and thrown it into a residence. Officers extinguished a kitchen fire upon arrival.

The report details a troubling pattern of escalating behavior by Hall. The day before the Molotov cocktail attack, Hall reportedly entered the woman’s home uninvited, leading to a police trespass order. He then allegedly sent threatening messages, both written and verbal, including threats to kill the woman and her children.

The woman, who had dated Hall for only a month and a half, resides in the home with her children and her paraplegic brother. Thankfully, no one was injured in the fire.

Hall reportedly admitted to sending messages but denied threats, claiming the voice recordings were AI-generated. He also provided inconsistent accounts of his whereabouts.

Hall has outstanding warrants for aggravated assault out of Maryland related to assault and firearm charges. He is currently held on $500,000 bail with a court date set for July 25th.
