LVMPD Investigates Fatal Incident After Woman Found Shot Following Single-Vehicle Crash

On November 16, 2025, at approximately 5:21 a.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) Communications center received a report regarding a single-vehicle crash occurring in the 7500 block of Dean Martin Drive. Responding officers located the vehicle, which had struck a street sign, and found medical personnel attending to a woman who appeared to have sustained a gunshot wound. She was later pronounced dead at the scene. The LVMPD Homicide Section was immediately notified and began an investigation. Detectives’ initial findings indicate that the victim had been operating the vehicle prior to the collision. The homicide section continues to lead the ongoing investigation. The victim’s identity, along with the official cause and manner of death, must be obtained through the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
