LVMPD Releases Information On Monday Night Fatal Shooting in Central Valley

LAS VEGAS – The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department disclosed details on a homicide investigation conducted by officers in Las Vegas’ central valley, south of the strip, on Monday night.
Officers were called to the 7500 block of Placid Street at 11 p.m. after receiving reports of an unresponsive guy on the ground. When authorities arrived, they discovered an adult male with an apparent gunshot wound.
When medical professionals came, they pronounced the individual dead on the scene.
“The LVMPD Homicide Section is still investigating,” police said. “The Clark County Coroner’s Office will announce the victim’s identity and the cause and manner of death.”
