LVP Says the Woman Took the Rolex Hid From Her Genitals Was in Town for Previous Theft Case

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – A woman suspected of stealing a Las Vegas hotel guest’s watch and putting it within her genitals Sunday was in Las Vegas for a Monday court hearing for a similar offense, Investigators have found.

Sarah Richards, 33, is charged with grand theft and using a controlled substance to help in the commission of a felony, according to police.

According to authorities, a man contacted 911 from the Aria hotel on Sunday morning to report that a lady, subsequently identified as Richards, had taken goods from his room, including a $12,000 watch.

According to authorities, the man informed detectives he met Richards and asked her to his room. When the duo began cuddling, Richards allegedly informed the guy that he should take off his Rolex watch or it would cut her while they snuggled.

“[The victim] ended up taking off the watch and placing it under his pillow,” police said. “He drank more wine since Richards kept insisting it.”

The man afterwards realized the watch was gone. According to them, the man followed her down the corridor, down the elevator, and into the lobby, where he informed security.

The watch was originally not found on Richards’ person, but it was subsequently discovered in her genitals, according to authorities.

“She stated that we were going to find it anyways at jail and she did not want to go through the hassle,” officers wrote in the arrest report. Officers later impounded the watch, placing it inside a biohazard bag, police said.

Police also discovered an unsealed purple pill capsule with “very tiny white stuff inside,” according to investigators.

Richards allegedly stole another person’s watch in June and was in Las Vegas for a court appearance on Monday for the same offense, according to police. According to records, she was accused of stealing and breaking into a house in June.

In one case, the victim told police that Richards drugged him on June 4 at a Las Vegas Strip hotel and took his $100,000 Patek Philippe wristwatch.

The victim said Richards contacted him at a hotel bar and the two agreed to go to his hotel room, where Richards stated she needed “money help.”

According to the victim, he got hotel security to assist him in opening the safe in his room, following which he gave her $1,000 from it. He informed authorities he woke up hours later with his watch gone from his wrist.

According to police, Richards resides in Baltimore. She posted bond and her next court appearance was set for January.
