Las Vegas, NV – A 27-year-old man has been apprehended in connection with a series of thefts targeting multiple Target stores in the valley. Kenneth Andrews is accused of being part of a group responsible for stealing thousands of dollars worth of Lego sets between December 2023 and February 2024.
Authorities allege that Andrews and his accomplices struck five different Target locations, causing a combined loss of approximately $16,151.91. The most significant incident occurred on January 28 at the Target near Blue Diamond and Arville, where Lego sets valued at around $6,200 were stolen.
Court records indicate that Andrews was arrested earlier this month and subsequently released on a $10,000 bail with conditions that include staying away from the affected Target stores. He is scheduled to appear in court on October 2 to face organized retail theft charges.
While several individuals were previously arrested for their involvement in the theft ring, Andrews is accused of continuing the criminal activity after his cohorts were apprehended.
It remains unclear if this Lego theft ring is connected to a similar incident that occurred in September 2023, where another individual was arrested for stealing thousands of dollars worth of Lego sets from Target stores.
The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is continuing its investigation into the matter.
