Man Found Dead in a Car Near Downtown Las Vegas

LAS VEGAS – On Saturday morning, police in Las Vegas found a dead man in a car near Downtown Las Vegas.
At about 5:35 a.m., the LVMPD got a report that a man in the 200 block of South 9th Street was found not moving.
Officers found the victim sitting in a car with what looked like a gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene by medical staff.
The LVMPD Homicide Section’s investigation shows that the person killed was in a car parked behind a house. The victim was found by a person who lived in the house, who then called the police.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office will release the name of the person who died and the cause and way of death.
Police say that they are still looking into this.
