Las Vegas, NV – Eric Alexander Williams, 44, has been charged with murder following a fatal shooting in the northeast valley on January 28th. The victim, Davion Smith, allegedly had his car repaired by Williams, leading to a dispute over the final payment that ended tragically.
Details of the Incident:
- Smith left his BMW with Williams for repairs a few days before the shooting, agreeing to a $200 cost and making a $120 down payment.
- Upon returning, Williams raised the price to $500, prompting Smith to send someone to retrieve the additional funds.
- An eyewitness reported seeing Williams enter an RV on the property before shooting Smith when he approached the vehicle.
- Smith’s girlfriend witnessed the aftermath and called emergency services.
- Williams and his girlfriend initially fled the scene but he later turned himself in.
Investigation and Legal Proceedings:
- Witnesses claim no aggressive behavior from Smith in the payment dispute.
- Williams is currently detained in Clark County Detention Center awaiting a court appearance on April 11th.
