Metro Launches Sudden Death Investigation After Unresponsive Woman Discovered in East Valley

LAS VEGAS, NV — Detectives with the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department are conducting a comprehensive investigation after an adult female was discovered dead on a valley sidewalk early Thursday morning.

The early-morning discovery drew a heavy police presence to a busy residential and transit grid.

According to active incident briefs released by Metro public information officers, patrol units responded to the 1200 block of North Eastern Avenue, near Washington Avenue, following emergency calls regarding a person down.

Detectives Scour Area for Evidence
