Due to visible signs of trauma found on the woman’s body, Metro’s specialized Homicide Section was immediately called to the scene to spearhead the investigation. Crime scene analysts cordoned off a wide perimeter along Eastern Avenue, locking down localized lanes for several hours to conduct forensic sweeps, document physical evidence, and canvas nearby businesses for security camera footage.
The Clark County Coroner’s Office took custody of the deceased to determine the official cause and manner of death, as well as formal identity verification pending notification of next of kin. Metro officials have not yet released any suspect descriptions or a specific motive, keeping the active case file heavily restricted while field agents trace her final movements.
