Michele Fiore, Former Las Vegas City Councilwoman, Found Guilty in Federal Wire Fraud Case

Pahrump Justice of the Peace and former Las Vegas City Councilwoman Michele Fiore has been found guilty on all counts in a federal wire fraud case. Fiore faced one count of conspiracy to commit wire fraud and six counts of wire fraud for defrauding donors of hundreds of thousands of dollars meant for charitable purposes, instead using the funds for personal expenses.

The jury reached its decision swiftly, delivering guilty verdicts on all charges in under two hours of deliberation.

Fiore, a prominent figure in Nevada politics, is scheduled for sentencing on January 6. Her attorney has indicated plans to file an appeal, according to court documents. The case has garnered significant attention due to Fiore’s political background and the serious nature of the charges.
