Mother in DUI Crash That Killed Toddlers Threatened Person With Knife Weeks Before

LAS VEGAS – Police arrested a mother facing child abuse charges in connection with the death of her two young daughters in a suspected DUI crash during a domestic disturbance weeks earlier after she allegedly threatened a person with a knife and cut up their shoes, according to records obtained by Investigators.
According to North Las Vegas police, Raenysa Clydette-Glenn Washington, 23, was a passenger in the car accident that killed her two toddlers. The aunt of the two children, Kaleah Shaelle Manning, 25, is suspected of driving under the influence.
Documents show that Henderson police responded to a report of a domestic incident involving Washington on November 11.
According to records, Washington is accused of hitting someone before taking an empty liquor bottle and a steak knife. According to authorities, Washington “poked” the victim on the shoulder with the knife at one point.
According to authorities, she also used the knife to chop up the victim’s shoes.
