Las Vegas police are investigating a fatal crash involving a motorcycle and a truck that occurred Saturday morning at the intersection of East Washington Avenue and North Bruce Street. The incident happened around 10:22 a.m., according to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department.
Investigators say a 2023 Kawasaki Ninja 400 was traveling eastbound at high speed when the rider failed to stop at a red light and collided with a westbound Ford F-150 that was turning left. The motorcyclist was ejected onto the roadway and died at the scene despite efforts from first responders. The driver of the truck was taken to University Medical Center with injuries but was cooperative and showed no signs of impairment.
This marks the 121st traffic-related fatality in the LVMPD jurisdiction for 2025. The Collision Investigation Section is conducting a full investigation.
