A Las Vegas judge has denied an Israeli government official’s motion to dismiss criminal charges linked to an undercover sex sting investigation. The defendant, 38-year-old Tom Artiom Alexandrovich, is charged in Clark County with luring a child or a mentally-ill person using technology with the intent to engage in sexual conduct. He maintains a plea of not-guilty.
Alexandrovich was arrested in August at a Henderson sting operation targeting internet predators. Court records indicate he is one of eight individuals arrested during the multi-agency investigation. The judge concluded the prosecution demonstrated probable cause and will allow the case to move forward. Further hearings are scheduled.
