LAS VEGAS – According to the Clark County School District, a kid from a local north valley middle school was arrested after a gun was discovered on campus.
A Spring Valley High School student was detained after a pistol was discovered on campus.
According to a letter to parents from the school’s principal, Gary Bugash, the incident occurred on Friday at Brian and Teri Cram Middle School.
According to the letter, the school received a complaint of a weapon on campus, following which school employees and CCSD police investigated and discovered a gun.
According to Bugash, there were no injuries or threats made against the institution.
Parents were asked to discuss school safety with their children and report any threats to the SafeVoice reporting system by calling 1-833-216-SAFE or using the free downloadable phone app at safevoicenv.org.
