Northbound I-15 Is Closed at the Las Vegas Speedway Due to a Crash

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Tuesday morning, all lanes of northbound Interstate 15 in the northeast Las Vegas valley were closed due to an accident.

Traffic was being rerouted to Speedway Boulevard, near the Las Vegas Speedway.

At around 1:17 a.m., Nevada State Police, Highway Patrol reported an injury collision on the interstate.

According to the authorities, a tractor trailer lost its lane and collided with a railing.

According to Highway Patrol, the driver suffered just minor injuries, but technicians are trying to mop up a diesel fuel leak.

It is unknown when the freeway will reopen.
