One Cat and Two Dogs Dead After Tuesday Morning House Fire in East Las Vegas

A house fire in the early hours of Tuesday morning in east Las Vegas tragically resulted in the deaths of one cat and two dogs.
According to the Clark County Fire Department, dispatch received calls about a blaze on the 4600 block of Cleveland Avenue at 4:45 a.m. The first crews arrived within six minutes at 4:51 a.m. to find a single-story home engulfed in flames, which were also spreading to a neighboring house.
Thankfully, all residents were able to evacuate the burning home. However, they reported that several dogs were still inside. Firefighters heroically rescued a number of the dogs, but they also discovered one cat and two dogs deceased in the fire. The fire was extinguished by 5:08 a.m.
There were no reported injuries among civilians or firefighters. The fire department is still investigating the cause of the fire, which caused an estimated $50,000 to $100,000 in damages.
