Police Investigating a Stabbing Death of a Man Discovered in an Alley East of the Strip

LAS VEGAS, Nev. (702 Times, NV Globe) – Homicide police are looking into the murder of a man who was found with a stab wound near an alley dumpster in a neighborhood east of the Strip early Saturday.
According to a news release, Las Vegas Metropolitan Police responded to reports of a man unconscious by a trash in an alley at 1300 Sombrero Drive, a few blocks northwest of the intersection of South Maryland Parkway and East Desert Inn Road, and found the victim with an apparent stab wound.
According to authorities, he was pronounced dead at the spot by medical officials.
According to authorities, the victim’s identification will be announced pending an assessment by the Clark County Coroner’s Office.
