Police Investigating After Man Found Dead In Summerlin Area

LAS VEGAS – On Monday afternoon, a person was killed in the west valley, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department is looking into what happened.
The 8600 block of Starboard Drive is where the police are. This is close to Sahara Avenue and Durango Drive.
Lt. Jason Johansson said that gunshots had been heard at an apartment complex in the Summerlin area.
When the police arrived, people pointed them to the door of an apartment.
“When officers went inside, they found a Black man in his 30s who had been shot multiple times,” Johansson said.
Shortly after, people from the medical and fire departments came and said the man was dead.
Investigators of homicides have come because of what happened. Initial information about the case is limited, but police are looking for surveillance videos or witnesses in the area right now.
