Suspect Arrested in Connection with January Shooting Death

Las Vegas, NV – Las Vegas Metropolitan Police (LVMPD) announced the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect in connection with a deadly shooting that occurred nearly two months ago on January 2nd.
Details of the Incident:
- Date: January 2nd, 2024
- Location: Apartment complex on the 2200 block of Torrey Pines Drive, near Smoke Ranch Road
- Victim: Darian A. Gonzalez, 29 years old
Investigation and Arrest:
- Detectives identified Prseyus Dennis as a suspect in the shooting and apprehended him on Tuesday, February 27th.
- He faces charges of open murder, robbery with a deadly weapon, and conspiracy to commit robbery.
- The investigation revealed that another individual was injured during the shooting and sought medical attention at a nearby hospital.
- Police believe both victims were present in the apartment at the time of the incident.
