LAS VEGAS – Fire officials from Clark County said in an update sent out on Thursday that an explosion that injured six persons in Boulder City was determined to have been an industrial accident.
Eddie Digangi, an employee of Armorock, suffered severe burns and nearly lost his life in an explosion on July 11 at a plant off US 95.
A hopper in the facility was identified as the likely origin of the explosion, while the precise cause remains unknown.
They claim they cannot rule out the possibility of static electricity or an electrical malfunction.
