According to Las Vegas police, the woman was riding her electric scooter when she was struck by the SUV as it was making a right turn. The driver, 21-year-old Ali Khar, fled the scene but later returned and informed officers of the vehicle’s location. Khar was arrested on hit-and-run charges and did not show signs of impairment. This incident marks the 100th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
