Vegas Police Crack Down on Illegal Fireworks Ahead of July 4th

The Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department (LVMPD) is sending a clear message to those considering bringing illegal fireworks into the valley: don’t do it. Over the weekend, LVMPD tweeted a photo showcasing several confiscated fireworks, a reminder that officers are already on the lookout for violators.
Safe and Sane Only
Residents are restricted to using “safe and sane” fireworks for a safe and legal Fourth of July celebration. Permitted within Clark County, these fireworks will be available for purchase at designated stands across Las Vegas starting June 28th.
