
Volunteers Needed For Next Year’s Southern Nevada Homeless Census

LAS VEGAS – Your assistance is required for next year’s Southern Nevada Homeless Census.
On January 26, 2023, the count will take place in the Las Vegas Valley.
Volunteers will be asked to undertake a four-hour shift, arriving at deployment sites throughout the valley at five a.m.
Last year’s census indicated over 14,000 persons experienced homelessness in Southern Nevada at some point during the year.
Anyone interested in volunteering may go to https://helphopehome.org/homeless-census/ for more information. One week before the event, virtual training sessions will be held.
“The homeless census is a qualifying condition for grants that contribute more than $15 million yearly to local groups that provide homeless services and programs,” according to Clark County.
