A project to bring additional affordable housing to downtown Reno has begun.
Vintage at Washington Station, which is to be developed on Winter Street between Washington and Third Streets, will be an apartment complex for adults 55 and older.
Seniors earning 60% or less of the median income will be permitted to rent apartments. It will have about 200 flats as well as a common space for socialization.
The new facility is set to open in May of 2024.
