NEVADA – The Coral Academy Cadence Campus in Henderson, Nevada was shot “multiple times” during off-hours overnight, according to an email sent to parents on Tuesday morning. Police reported that the incident took place at approximately 3:40 a.m. when there were no students or staff members present in the building. The shooting reportedly occurred in random places throughout the campus.

Fortunately, no injuries were reported in connection to the incident, and police are currently investigating the matter. The email sent to parents confirmed that three windows had been damaged during the shooting. Since the shooting was not targeted at any individual, the Coral Academy allowed students to return to school on Tuesday, April 25.

In response to the incident, the Coral Academy implemented several measures on Tuesday to ensure student safety. Additional security personnel were present on campus during a soft lockdown, while in-person meetings that had been scheduled for the day were canceled, and visitors were not permitted to enter the building.

The police have not yet identified any suspects or motives for the shooting, but the investigation is ongoing. The Coral Academy has expressed its commitment to maintaining a safe environment for its students and staff and has assured parents that it will continue to work closely with the authorities to ensure the safety of the campus.
