
Crash Near Winnemucca Claims Life of One Person

NEVADA – According to Nevada State Police, one person was killed in a crash north of Winnemucca on Thursday.
According to their early investigation, on December 29, a gray Chevy pickup was driving south on US Highway 95 when it failed to negotiate a bend safely.
The driver lost control, swerved off the road, and flipped.
Julian Segura, 25, was one of the passengers who was not wearing a seatbelt and was thrown from the truck. He died at the scene from his injuries.
The driver and three adolescent passengers were taken to the hospital for minor injuries.
