RENO, Nev.- After seasonal adjustment, job numbers in Nevada fell by 600 in August 2022.
The unemployment rate, however, remained at 4.4%.
Despite the small fall, job numbers in most industries remain at or above their pre-pandemic highs.
Reno was the only city in Nevada to create jobs in August, bringing in 600. Carson City experienced no changes in employment, however Las Vegas lost 100 jobs.
However, the Department of Employment notes that those figures have not been seasonally adjusted.
