NEVADA – The first of several storms expected to hit the Lake Tahoe Basin over the next week makes landfall Sunday morning.
Most Tahoe roadways require chains and/or snow tires, with nearby resorts reporting around 5 inches of snow overnight and more falling.
The only spots where chains are not necessary are from the “Y” in South Lake Tahoe to Stateline and on Emerald Bay Road from the “Y” to Camp Richardson.
