Green Garbage Collections Will Be Held by Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue

This weekend, Truckee Meadows Fire & Rescue will have two green garbage collecting programs. The goal is to assist homeowners in creating protective space around their properties.

One event is scheduled on Saturday at the Ironwood Equestrian Center, located at 5600 Whiskey Springs Rd in Palomino Valley.

The second event will take place on Sunday at Lazy 5 Regional Park in Spanish Springs.

Both activities begin at 9:00 a.m. up to 4:00 p.m.
