Investigation underway after body found on University of Nevada, Reno campus

NEVADA – Police are investigating after a woman’s body was found on the University of Nevada, Reno campus on Thursday morning. The body was discovered after 7 a.m. at the north end of the Quad, located between the Paul Laxalt Mineral Engineering and Mackay School of Mines buildings. Although police have stated that it does not appear to be suspicious, they are still investigating the situation and the identity of the deceased individual.
Authorities are encouraging anyone with information about the incident to come forward by calling or texting an anonymous tip to Secret Witness at 775-322-4900. The investigation is ongoing and further details will be provided as they become available.
