Man Arrested After Nearly Hitting a Construction Worker Twice With His Car

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Deputies from the Washoe County Sheriff’s Office apprehended a man for driving past a construction zone and nearly colliding with a flagger, among other offenses.
According to WCSO, they responded to the vicinity of 14070 Red Rock Road for a complaint of a vehicle in a construction zone.
Workers at the construction site stated that an automobile was speeding through the work zone. The vehicle then returned to the construction zone and collided with a worker holding a stop sign before being halted by additional employees.
However, after being halted, the driver turned the vehicle and drove around the employees, smacking a man in the hand with a side mirror.
Vincent Delimios was arrested by WCSO deputies on Oct. 3 after returning to the construction site and speeding through it again.
Delimios was detained and charged with two counts of felony assault with a dangerous weapon, two counts of misdemeanor reckless disregard for persons/property, resisting arrest, driving without a license, and displaying an invalid plate/registration/title.
