Nevada County Residents Can Drop off Green Waste for Free Today

NEVADA – According to a news release from Nevada County Garbage Management, residents of Nevada County can bring their green waste to the McCourtney Road Transfer Station today, November 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., for free.
According to the press release, “(Waste Management) is offering free disposal of yard waste at the McCourtney Road Transfer Station in acknowledgment of recent pickup delays.”
Tree and plant trimmings, dead plants, weeds, weeds, leaves, branches, etc. are all acceptable. Tree stumps, root balls, and anything shorter than 4 feet in length and 18 inches in circumference will not be taken.
