No One Was Critically Injured During an Accident Involving Six Semi-trucks on I-80 Near Gold Ranch

VERDI, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe)- No one was critically injured in an accident involving six semi-trucks and two passenger automobiles on I-80 near Gold Ranch on Wednesday morning.
The accident occurred shortly before 5:30 a.m. eastbound I-80 at the Nevada-California state border I-80 was closed for many hours as personnel cleared the site, but it has since reopened.
According to Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, two persons were injured but are expected to recover.

Traffic on westbound I-80 at Gold Ranch is backed up because of a crash involving six semi-trucks and many vehicles.
According to Truckee Meadows Fire and Rescue, two passenger cars were involved in the crash with at least one of them pinned beneath a truck. The incident injured two persons, although officials say the injuries were minor.
Authorities have asked that you keep off the road for many hours while personnel try to clean the site. Significant delays are expected throughout the morning.
