Northwest Reno House Fire Leaves Behind 2 Dead Dogs

NEVADA – Friday night, a fire in the West University area of northwest Reno claimed the lives of two dogs.
According to the Reno Fire Department, the home is still livable and no one was forced to relocate as a result of the blaze.
The blaze was reported on Lodge Avenue at 8:23 p.m. Once firefighters came, they rapidly extinguished the fire.
There was still no word on what started the fire.
There were four emergency vehicles that arrived: a fire truck, a police car, and a rescue vehicle.
By the time conventional closing time of 10 p.m. rolled around, Lodge Avenue had been cleared for traffic.
