Pedestrian Tragically Killed in Summit Mall Parking Lot Accident

NEVADA – A tragic incident occurred at the Summit mall parking lot in south Reno on Tuesday evening when a pedestrian was hit by a vehicle. The accident took place just before 9:00 p.m. and resulted in the pedestrian being rushed to the hospital. Unfortunately, the pedestrian was later declared dead.

The Reno Police Department is investigating the incident and trying to determine the cause of the accident. It is unclear at this time whether the driver of the vehicle stayed at the scene or fled.

The police are urging anyone with information about the incident to come forward and contact them. Any information, no matter how small, could be crucial to the investigation.
