Reno Garage Fire Displaces Two People and Injures One

NEVADA – An investigation is underway after a garage fire off of Longley Lane in Reno on Tuesday morning.
Fire crews were called to the home on Santa Ana Drive just after 6:30 a.m. A black plume of smoke could be seen across some of the valley.
Fire crews say the fire was contained to the garage, but it damaged a car in the driveway. Authorities say two people were displaced.
Reno Fire says four cats and one turtle were evacuated. One person was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
