
Reno Police Arrest Two People for Murder in April 2021

RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Reno police have arrested two persons in connection with a homicide that occurred last April.
Police arrested the couple for the murder of Marcos Avalos.
Cristian A Barcenas, 26, of Reno, was detained on suspicion of open murder with a dangerous weapon.
Daniel Mendez, 26, of Winnemucca, was also detained on suspicion of open murder with a dangerous weapon.
Officers rushed to the 200 block of E Grove and discovered Avalos shot. He was brought to a nearby hospital, where he died from his injuries.
