Reno Residents on Alert as Police Respond to Unspecified Incident in Hidden Valley

NEVADA – Reno Police and Washoe County Sheriff’s Office deputies have responded to reports of heavy police activity in the Hidden Valley area, with the intersection of Hidden Valley and Mira Loma Drives blocked off. It is unclear at this time what the police activity is related to, but Washoe County RAVEN and K-9 units are on scene.
Storey County has issued a shelter in place order for the Virginia City Highlands area due to the police activity, although it is unknown if it is related to the incident in Hidden Valley.
