NEVADA – The Reno Aces baseball team will recognize local resident and accomplished triathlete Tracy Copeland during their May 19 game against the Sacramento River Cats. Copeland, who received a liver transplant in 1998, has completed an Iron Man competition, cycled 129 miles in the Tour of the California Alps, and medaled in swimming, cycling, and running competitions across several Transplant Games of America and World Transplant Games.
At the game, Copeland will run the bases in honor of her organ donor, Terry Lee Snow, and his family. Copeland expressed her gratitude for being able to meet her donor’s family and says she is honored to be able to thank organ donors and their families.
