NEVADA – A woman’s $10 bet at the Atlantis Casino Resort Spa on Sunday turned into a life-changing $14 million jackpot win. The lucky player, who has been a regular at the Reno resort for years, hit the biggest slot machine win in the city’s history after playing the Megabucks Mega Vault for 40 minutes.

While the winner wished to remain anonymous, the official value of her record-setting jackpot was confirmed to be $14,005,833.17. Cheraz Ecker, the general manager of Atlantis Casino Resort Spa, expressed her excitement for the winner’s incredible luck.

“We’re ecstatic for our longtime Atlantis patron and her incredible jackpot win,” Ecker said in a statement released by the resort.

According to the news release, the woman had not planned to be at the casino that night. However, due to a canceled cruise, she extended her stay at the resort and ended up hitting the jackpot of a lifetime.
