RENO, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – The City of Reno wants to remind property owners that it is their responsibility to clear snow and ice off the sidewalk in front of their building as we get ready for further snow and low weather this weekend and into the beginning of next week.
The state that in addition to being against the law, snow and ice can seriously endanger the safety of pedestrians.
Code Enforcement personnel from the City will be on duty tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 13, at 11 a.m. Residents are being reminded of this very essential fact at Reno City Hall’s first-floor lobby, as well as the potential consequences of failing to clear the sidewalk of snow or shifting it into the road, and how to report wrongdoers.
