Scattered Showers and Thunderstorms Expected to Bring Slick Evening Commute and Winter Driving Conditions

NEVADA – Residents of the valley can expect scattered showers and thunderstorms to move through the area on Tuesday afternoon and evening. These weather patterns are expected to bring snow showers to higher elevations and create winter driving conditions along mountain passes until Wednesday morning.
According to weather forecasts, the rain is likely to continue on Wednesday and Thursday before clearing out in time for the weekend. While temperatures will remain cooler than average, with highs in the mid to upper 50s over the next few days, the mid-60s can be expected by the weekend, with partly cloudy skies.
