
Sheriff Says Carson City 911 Calls Will Be Down Until Tuesday

CARSON CITY, Nev. (775 Times, NV Globe) – Sheriff Ken Furlong of Carson City has announced that beginning at 11 p.m., Charter Spectrum subscribers would not have access to the county’s emergency 911 system via their home phones. Monday night until 8 a.m. Tuesday.
Spectrum is performing maintenance, according to Sheriff Furlong.
People in Carson City can still dial the following numbers for emergency assistance:
775-887-COPS
775-887-FIRE
775-887-2008 (Carson City Dispatch, Direct Line)
Cell phones should be unaffected by the maintenance.
