Suspect in Alleged Felony Lewdness Case From April Arrested by Carson City Sheriff’s Office Detective

NEVADA – Carson City Sheriff’s Office has confirmed the arrest of Robert Potter in connection to an alleged felony lewdness incident that occurred in April. According to a statement from a detective of the Carson City Sheriff’s Office, Potter was identified as the suspect in the case where he was accused of picking up a transient male and grabbing his genitals in his truck.
Following the identification of the suspect, detectives interviewed Potter and subsequently obtained an arrest warrant for him on charges of open and gross lewdness. The warrant was issued with a bail amount of $15,000.
On May 3, Potter was taken into custody at his residence located on Saddlehorn Road in Carson City. The arrest was made by the Carson City Sheriff’s Office without any incidents.
Potter is currently in custody and is expected to appear in court to face the charges against him. The authorities have not released any further details about the case at this time.
