Teen Fatally Shot in Reno Apartment Complex

NEVADA – A 17-year-old youth tragically died in a shooting incident at the Southwest Village apartments on S. Virginia Street. The shooting occurred on Monday night around 9:30 p.m.
According to investigators, the shooting occurred during a planned meeting between the victim and the suspects. Following the incident, the victim was rushed to the hospital but tragically succumbed to his injuries.
At this time, no details have been released regarding the suspects involved. However, law enforcement authorities have assured the public that there is no ongoing threat to the community’s safety.
