Teenage Pedestrian Hospitalized After Morning Car Accident

Carson City, NV– A 15-year-old girl was rushed to the hospital on Monday morning after being struck by a car near the intersection of Fairview and Gordon.
The Carson City Sheriff’s Office reported that the incident occurred at approximately 6:00 a.m. as the young girl crossed the street. Swift emergency response teams arrived at the scene to provide immediate medical attention, and the injured teenager was promptly transported to Renown Hospital for medical care.
The driver of the vehicle involved in the accident remained at the scene and cooperated fully with law enforcement investigators. Preliminary findings from the investigation do not indicate impairment as a contributing factor in the accident.
Local authorities are actively looking into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
